Program Overview

Your CIEE Semester Global Internship program in Rabat lasts 12 weeks and features three key components: A full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30 hours per week), an internship seminar, and the option to take a course taught online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Moroccan culture. Live, learn, and work in Rabat!

Samples of past excursions and activities:

  • Explore thousands of years of history with a guided tour of Rabat’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Old Medina and Kasbah
  • Meet local changemakers that are running NGOs and building a more equitable future by supporting women, indigenous Amazigh people, and children
  • Get lost in the red-walled medina of Marrakech, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco
