GEI Rwanda: Global Engineering (Summer I) 

Program Overview
This intensive 3-week program introduces students to the intersection of engineering and global development. You'll engage in immersive field activities and collaborative projects that illustrate how engineers address sustainability challenges in emerging contexts like Rwanda.

  • Learn from professionals leading infrastructure, health tech, or agriculture projects
  • Apply design thinking to field-based problem-solving
  • Build foundational intercultural and ethical engineering skills

Academics

  • ENG302: Global Field Engagement (4 credits)

  • Understand systems-level engineering issues in global contexts

Unique Experiences in Rwanda
Field visits may include water purification projects, energy access sites, or innovations in public health delivery. The program balances technical learning with deep cultural immersion through guided activities and peer exchange.
