Program Overview

Your Semester in Amman program lasts a full semester and is designed for students from all academic backgrounds. You will enroll in a combination of CIEE courses, host institution courses, and courses taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while immersing yourself in Jordanian culture. Live and learn in Amman!

Take a day trip to historical site Madaba, famous for its Byzantine-era churches
Enjoy a night in the breathtaking desert of Wadi Rum watching the stars
Hike in a Middle Eastern forest through Jordan's beautiful Ajloun Forest Reserve, where you'll discover Mediterranean-like woodlands filled with oak, pine, and pistachio trees
