Your Business + Culture program in Melbourne combines a broad selection of business courses while immersing you in Australia’s dynamic industries and multicultural energy. You’ll enroll in a combination of CIEE courses, host institution courses, and courses taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities like exploring the laneways and street art in the CBD, visiting the Queen Victoria Market, and attending innovation and entrepreneurship workshops at local accelerators. Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Melbourne will open doors for you to explore Australia's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.       

Samples of excursions and activities: 

  • Take a day trip to the Yarra Valley to learn about the wine and gin distillery industries in Victoria – major drivers of the economy 
  • Visit Clothing The Gap, an Indigenous-owned social enterprise using sustainable fashion to challenge inequality between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians 
  • Experience Australia’s unique wildlife at a sanctuary where you’ll encounter koalas, kangaroos, and wombats and learn about environmental conservation
