CIEE Business + Culture in Edinburgh, Scotland

Your Business + Culture program in Edinburgh allows you to combine a broad selection of business courses while engaging with global business concepts in a city steeped in history and deep-rooted cultural traditions. You’ll enroll in a combination of CIEE courses, host institution courses, and courses taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Outside the classroom, immerse yourself in Edinburgh through co-curricular and extracurricular activities like touring the iconic Edinburgh Castle, wandering the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, and visiting the Royal Bank of Scotland to examine global finance and innovation. Edinburgh’s blend of history, culture, and entrepreneurial energy makes every day abroad a new opportunity to grow.

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Edinburgh will open doors for you to explore Scotland’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Travel to Uddingston to tour the Tunnock’s factory and see how the family-owned company behind the famous Caramel Wafer and Tea Cake blends brand heritage with modern manufacturing
Take a day trip to Glenkinchie Distillery to learn how traditional whisky production and global branding drive one of Scotland’s most iconic industries
Visit iconic Highland sites including Glencoe, Inverness, and Loch Ness on a day trip or overnight stay to experience Scotland’s stunning scenery and history
