Your Business + Culture program in Dublin provides a broad selection of business courses, and places you in a city buzzing with entrepreneurial energy and cultural vibrancy. You’ll enroll in a combination of CIEE courses, host institution courses, and courses taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Immerse yourself in co-curricular and extracurricular experiences like touring Trinity College and the Book of Kells, attending workshops at Dublin’s tech hubs, enjoying fresh fish and chips after a coastal hike at Howth, and joining the locals for a traditional music session in Smithfield. Dublin’s blend of global industry, creativity, and Irish tradition makes it an inspiring place to live and learn.

Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Dublin will open doors for you to explore Ireland's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of excursions and activities:

  • Travel to Belfast on an overnight excursion, with a guided Falls and Shankill tour and visits to key cultural sites, markets, and pubs
  • Walk through Dublin’s Docklands with a local financial industry veteran, exploring its evolution into a hub for multinational headquarters and emerging startups 
  • Meet founders and innovators from five local companies during a private tour of the Guinness Enterprise Center, Dublin’s coworking and enterprise hub
