Internship Details

Embark on a transformative journey where theory meets practice. By gaining hands-on experience in the field, Electrical Engineering interns can sharpen technical skills and unlock potential as an aspiring electrical engineer. Navigate real-world challenges in a supportive environment, collaborate with working professionals, and learn about creative technical solutions.

Electrical Engineering interns in Crete have the opportunity to shadow and support electrical professionals in a variety of tasks, including testing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Assist with documenting issues and solutions, ensuring accurate records are kept for future reference while also helping prepare detailed task specifications for clients, gaining valuable insight into the planning and execution of projects.

These internships in Crete are intended to be tutorial, where interns receive guidance from professionals and are supported to enhance their operational skills and knowledge, in an experiential learning environment. In all cases, prior experience is taken into consideration. If you’re at a more introductory level, you should reasonably expect a more introductory internship.

Greek or other foreign languages are not a requirement to join. However, interns should expect that a language barrier can still be encountered to a certain extent. Come prepared and willing to surmount a language barrier (and ask for help when needed), as opposed to being intimidated by it.

Interns should expect that the first week of your experience will focus on settling in and gaining some introductory knowledge, to build an understanding of what you can develop, learn, and contribute. Interns are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback, so that your supervisor(s) understands how you’re progressing and can assist to develop your internship accordingly.

Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday, up to 8 hours per day.
