Program Description:

Study Abroad in Madrid

Explore the possibilities of a legal profession in the Pre-Law Immersive Studies program. Through direct engagement with international law firms and legal institutions, you’ll discuss topics such as human rights, commercial law, intellectual property, and environmental law. You’ll rotate through multiple firms and participate in legal excursions that give you firsthand insight into the global legal landscape. Whether observing courtroom proceedings or discussing privacy law with practicing attorneys, you’ll build a nuanced understanding across a range of legal areas. Gain practical exposure to legal specialties, sharpen your analytical thinking, and develop intercultural competencies that prepare you for the rigors of law school and beyond. Earn academic credit while building a competitive edge for law school admissions!

Where You'll Study

The CEA CAPA Madrid Center’s courses that are designed to increase your understanding of the diverse history, politics, and culture of Spain. Faculty uses the city as an extended classroom, allowing you to not only acquire discipline-specific knowledge, but also create intellectual links between your courses and the city. Students receive a transcript from CEA CAPA's school of record upon completing the program.
