Spend a semester in the global media capital of London, England, with AIFS Abroad! Explore the social and cultural impacts of digital media while studying at the London College of Communication (LCC), the famed institution that is one of the six colleges that make up the University of the Arts London.  

Students enrolled in the Media and Communication semester program develop their understanding of emerging communication technologies through the lens of culture. The curated courses emphasize media communication, journalism, and brand storytelling with emphasis given to the impact that activism, social justice, and culture have on this field. This program is ideal for students interested in a media or communications career, or future research in these areas.

University of the Arts London (UAL) is comprised of six renowned colleges. It has a world-class reputation for innovation in Art and Design. London College of Communication (LCC) is one of the six colleges that make up the world-renowned University of the Arts London. Located in Elephant and Castle, LCC showcases the role of storytelling in media, communication and design. Seen as innovators that are focused on the future, instructors and students are known for challenging the standards of communication and encouraging innovation and creativity. The institution emphasizes industry connections and encourages collaboration with local London-based media outlets and companies. Students on this program have access to unique media and communications facilities and resources including an onsite newsroom, media lab, film and television production studios, digital and analogue photography equipment; a printmaking workshop, 3D workshop and a creative technology hub.
