In all cases, interns should expect that the first week of your experience will focus on settling in and gaining some introductory knowledge. This will help them to better understand important details, such as how quickly you learn, what you find challenging, what you find interesting, etc.

The internship timetable is expected to be full time, but can be based on shift rosters, so may involve early starts, late finishes or weekend participation. Interns should come prepared to be flexible and to also communicate any requests in regard to your preferred timetable, which can be taken into consideration when planning for you.
