Program Overview

Your Business + Culture program in São Paulo lasts 12 weeks and is designed for students with a background in business. You will enroll in a combination of CIEE courses, host institution courses, and courses taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU, that focus on business. Enhance your experience with cross-disciplinary cultural and extracurricular activities while immersing yourself in Brazilian culture. Live and learn in São Paulo!

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in São Paulo will open doors for you to explore Brazil’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, contemporary trends, vibrant art, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

  • Hike through lush trails, discover hidden waterfalls, and learn about São Paulo’s efforts in environmental conservation at Serra da Cantareira, one of the largest urban forests in the world
  • Stroll through Beco do Batman, São Paulo’s iconic open-air street art gallery, and learn how graffiti and muralism have shaped the city’s cultural identity
  • Visit the charming town of Embu das Artes, just outside São Paulo, known for its bustling artisan markets, colonial architecture, and rich cultural heritage
