Program Overview

Your CIEE Semester Global Internship program in San Juan lasts 12 weeks and features three key components: A full-time internship with an?international organization (approximately 30 hours per week), an internship seminar, and a course taught?online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Puerto Rican culture. Live, learn, and work in San Juan!

  • Explore the trails of El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System, and discover waterfalls, exotic flora, and breathtaking views
  • Dive into the clear waters of Escambrón Marine Park and snorkel among colorful coral reefs and tropical fish
  • Experience the vibrant nightlife of La Placita, a historic marketplace that transforms into a lively hub of bars, restaurants, and live music after dark
