Program Overview

Your Semester in Abu Dhabi program lasts 12 weeks and is designed for students from all academic backgrounds. You will enroll in a combination of CIEE courses and courses taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Abu Dhabi will open doors for you to explore the United Arab Emirate’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, contemporary trends, vibrant art, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

  • Experience a traditional Bedouin camp experience on a desert safari
  • Discover the history of Abu Dhabi at Qasr Al Hosn, a historic fort and cultural landmark
  • Explore the National Aquarium in Al Qana, the largest aquarium in the Middle East
