Program Overview

Your CIEE Semester Global Internship program in Paris lasts 12 weeks and features three key components: A full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30 hours per week), an internship seminar, and the option to take a course taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in French culture. Live, learn, and work in Paris!

Program Highlights

Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Paris will open doors for you to explore France’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, contemporary trends, vibrant art, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of past excursions and activities:

  • Take a trip outside of Paris to visit Monet’s home or wander through Versailles Palace and its gardens
  • Enjoy a French pastry-tasting to learn about French pastries and sample some of the most famous examples like éclair au chocolat or tarte au citron meringuée
  • Discover the Montmartre neighborhood located in north Paris to learn about the area’s artistic significance while walking the winding cobblestone streets and visiting landmarks like the Sacre Coeur Basilica, the Place du Tertre artists’ colony, and the “I Love You” wall
