Program Overview

Your CIEE Semester Global Internship program in London lasts 12 weeks and features three key components: a full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30 hours per week), an internship seminar, and the option to take a course taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in British culture. Live, learn, and work in London!

Program Highlights

Internship Placements: CIEE offers the largest inventory of internship placements that align with your career aspirations.

Academic Courses: Choose from online courses delivered by CIEE’s global partner, ASU, that align with your academic major.

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in London will open doors for you to explore England's rich diversity, language, culture, history, contemporary trends, vibrant art, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.    

Samples of past excursions and activities:

  • Discover the U.K.’s vibrant cultures and gain insight into the country’s social policies, value systems, and influence on the rest of Europe and the world  
  • Take a break from the fast pace of London in the city’s abundant green spaces in and around the center, including eight nearby royal parks  
  • Explore the professional working world in London through organizational site visits, industry networking events, and local guest lectures
