PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
• Take three classes towards your degree and participate in a six-week, credit-bearing externship and associated course.
• Explore career options and gain an international perspective. At London Met, you can extern in a variety of fields and are not limited to the subjects you study while abroad.
• Voted as one of the best universities in the U.K. for teaching quality, faculty at London Met focus on providing real-world skills and practical knowledge to prepare students for success in the workforce. Outside of class, you’ll feel welcome and accepted as a member of this diverse campus.
• Nothing can beat the location of London Met! Watch Arsenal at the nearby Emirates Stadium, stop in for a pint at one of the many nearby pubs, go sightseeing along the Thames, soak in art and history at one of the world-class museums, or see a live music or theatre performance!

LIFE ABROAD
Live and study in the heart of London as part of a diverse and multicultural student body! Spread across three campuses, you’ll love attending classes in the fashionable shopping district of Holloway Road in the central London borough of Islington, in Shoreditch in London’s vibrant East End, or in the historic “City of London,” now the base of London’s financial district. With excellent public transportation and lively, walkable city streets, it’s easy to explore London’s many activities! Academically, London Met’s practical course offerings are focused on employability and are the perfect way to gain skills needed after graduation.

EXTERNSHIP
Gain insight into your future career field during a 6-week, 70-hour, credit bearing professional experience.  Available for most fields of study, the externship is a great fit for media, journalism, publishing, education, business, accountancy, finance, marketing, hospitality, law, and health. London Met staff will work with you on your application, find an appropriate placement, and prepare you to tackle a work-based challenge. A concurrent workshop-based class will review work ethics, inclusive practices, self-reflection, and professional development training. The externship is worth 15 U.K. credits (~3 U.S. credit hours).

What We Love About London Met
Lots of universities claim to be diverse, but London Met truly is! It’s a great spot for students from all backgrounds, including non-traditional (mature) students. More than 50% of students come from an under-represented background, and over 80% identify as adult (non-traditional) learners.
