Join Intern Abroad HQ, the world’s most affordable international internship organization, and invest in your future with a Filmmaking and Production Internship in Jordan.

Program Information

If you are passionate about a career in filmmaking and production, this internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the industry, making your resume stand out from the crowd, and providing you with a broad range of transferable skills, such as communication, relationship-building, and critical thinking.

This program ranges from 4-6 weeks and has start dates every second and fourth Saturday of the month.

Your fully-hosted experience includes sourcing of your internship placement, personalization of your project plan, airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. For a full list of our transparent fees, check out our website.

Eligibility Requirements

At least one year of relevant study in Screen Arts, Visual Media, Production, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is recommended. Interns also require professional ability to use related filmmaking and production hardware and software in order to conduct this internship.

Internship Details

Take this opportunity to gain insight into a range of activities related to filmmaking and production, across a range of creative mediums - e.g. cinematic, television and online media, such as pre-production, research, revision, editing, post-production, and more. Individual internship experiences vary, as the specific placement that you’re assigned will depend on review of your resume and your current level of studies and experience. The Filmmaking & Production industry encompasses a variety of talents and diverse career paths, so there is potential to try new things while developing better knowledge of the logistics and challenges associated with project development and delivery.

Supervision may be handled by a range of staff, as teams can often be multidisciplinary. In all cases, interns should expect that the first week of your experience will focus on settling in and gaining some introductory knowledge, as you will not “hit the ground running”. Rather, you should start with learning about the placement to gain an understanding of what you can build upon, develop, learn, and contribute. Ensure that you ask questions and provide feedback during the introductory period, so that your supervisor(s) understands how you’re progressing. This will help them to better understand important details, such as how quickly you learn, what you find challenging, what you find interesting, etc.
