Program Overview

The World Endeavours Study Abroad program in Ecuador takes place at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ). It is a liberal arts, private university, the first self-financed university in Ecuador. Choose to study here and immerse yourself in the cultural and ecological diversity of this northern Andean country.

The main campus of USFQ, ranked in the top three universities in Ecuador, is in Cumbaya, a commuter town just outside of Quito and the highest income area in the country. Students benefit from a library, education and research laboratories and seven restaurants. USFQ is the only university in the world that owns a campus in the Galapagos Islands and in the Yasuni Biosphere Reserve, one of Earth’s most biodiverse areas.
