Program Highlights

City: Karlsruhe is the third largest city in the state of Baden-Württemberg with a population of approximately 300,000. The city is located only 17 miles away from the Germany-France border making it easy to travel between the two countries.

University: With a student population of 22,000, The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is the only German university of excellence that combines a long university tradition with large-scale national research. KIT is a top German university and is ranked #119 in QS World University Rankings 2024.
