Program Description:
Interning in another country gives you the opportunity to gain knowledge and an understanding of your field from a new culture and context. 

Overview
Our 8-week Summer Internship is a holistic program that provides you with a high-quality internship placement and on-ground support. As you build your career skills, you also get to explore the beautiful city you’re living in through cultural excursions. Living and Learning provides custom internship placement for you at locations around the city of Quito. You'll work at your  internship site four days per week. One day per week you'll have the opportunity to explore the city, participate in optional Spanish tutoring, and enjoy evening chapel. You can either participate in this internship program for college credit or complete the program solely for experience.

The internship placement is customized based on your interests, school requirements, future career goals, etc. 
A few internship examples including working in the following fields: ministry, education, non-profits, hospitals/clinics, government agencies, for-profit businesses, etc. Whatever your major we have a spot for you!

Optional Galápagos Island Excursion
If you would like, you are able to join us for about six days after the program in the Galápagos Islands! Following the 8-week program, students can join an optional 5-day guided excursion of the Galápagos Islands.
