Program Information
On this program, you will be placed in an internship across some of Spain’s most exciting organizations. Internships are allocated based on your skills and interests, with opportunities in software development, programming, web optimization, UX design, app development, and more.
Interns in Barcelona and Madrid will be accommodated in fully furnished apartments or selected hotel / hostel rooms.
In Valencia, you'll stay in a homestay with a local family.
This program ranges from 4-12 weeks (2-24 weeks in Valencia) and has
start dates every Monday throughout the year.

Eligibility Requirements
At least one year of relevant study in Information Technology, Information Sciences, Engineering or a related field is recommended.

Any requests will be accommodated wherever possible, though are subject to availability. If you have specific requests, we encourage you to communicate your top three preferences and we’ll do our utmost to match you accordingly - note that your current skills and experience will be taken into account.

Our experiential learning approach provides a structured and guided platform for you to think critically about your experiences on your internship. It accelerates and deepens your learning by asking self-reflective questions around the contexts, actions, and outcomes of your placement.
Academic credit is available for all experiences with 45 hours or more through our School of Record partnerships with University of Montana (1-5 credits) and Warren Wilson College (6-16 credits), that you can apply towards your degree at your home institution.

How to Apply

- Select your start date and duration: All Intern Abroad HQ programs are available year-round and you can choose to intern for durations on this program ranging from 2 to 24 weeks.
- Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Deposit.
- Pay your Balance: This is only due 60 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 60 days before you start.
