Program Information

On this program, you will experience architecture in real life, with internships in local architecture studios in Valencia. With guidance from a local architect and the chance to contribute to real-life projects at a variety of stages, interns gain hugely valuable work experience in an exciting and vibrant city.

This program ranges from 2-24 weeks and has start dates every Monday throughout the year.

Eligibility Requirements

At least one year of relevant college/university study in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Product Design, or a related field. Experience with Autocad/Autodesk Revit and/or interior design software is recommended. Interns should be prepared to provide a design portfolio if possible, containing samples of previous work to facilitate the internship matching process.
 
Internship Details

Interns have the opportunity to observe and take part in the architecture process, from concept development, design, construction, installation, and build completion. Placements are available with a range of architecture firms that focus on a variety of specific fields.

Interns can assist with a range of construction projects including:
  • Renovations to residential and commercial buildings
  • Large construction projects of apartment and commercial buildings
  • Sports fields and facilities
  • Urban planning
  • Interior design

  • Select your start date and duration: All Intern Abroad HQ programs are available year-round and you can choose to intern for durations on this program ranging from 2 to 24 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Deposit.
  • Pay your Balance: This is only due 60 days before your program starts.

Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 60 days before you start.
