Program Description:
School Break Ecuador
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, on the School Break Volunteer Project in Ecuador.

You will assist on school holiday programs which are a good option for children who would otherwise be left unsupervised while their parents work. School holiday programs offer lessons and entertainment which provide continuity of education and make the break from school enjoyable and beneficial.

You’ll stay in a volunteer house or homestay. Bedrooms have single beds, bunk beds or a double bed and you can expect to share a room with one or two other volunteers.

Programs start every Monday throughout the year.

This program ranges from 1-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
 
Your Impact

By volunteering in Ecuador on the School Break project, you can help to provide extra education and entertainment for these children and help them continue their learning in a safe and structured environment. You could be teaching a range of subjects or taking different games to keep them interested, engaged and having fun.

As a School Break volunteer you will:
  • Assist with lessons
  • Teach and play games
  • Arrange activities
  • Teach English
  • Help prepare for a final presentation at the end of the break where the children will perform songs, dances and plays for their parents

  • Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 1 to 12 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
  • Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
