Program Description:

Special Needs Jordan
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, on the Special Needs Support Volunteer Project in Jordan.

You will assist in centers for people with disabilities. There is still social stigma attached to disabilities in Jordan and families lacking adequate support often struggle to provide care. Volunteers can help by providing support and assistance so people with disabilities are able to get the kind of quality care and education that can improve and enrich their wellbeing and lives.

You’ll be hosted in a homestay where you’ll live with a local family. It is an exciting chance to learn the Jordanian way of life, meet local people, eat local food, speak the local language and engage in local customs and traditions.

Programs start every first and third Saturday of the month throughout the year.

This program ranges from 1-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
