The accommodation in Battambang is a community guesthouse which is located in the heart of Battambang.
In Siem Reap, you will be accommodated in either a volunteer house, guesthouse or home-stay and you can expect to share a room with four other IVHQ volunteers, who are of the same gender.
At both locations there are
start dates on the first and third Monday of each month throughout the year.
This program ranges from 2-24 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available

Your Impact
The general level of education in Cambodia is considerably lower than other countries, leading to a high level of poverty and unemployment, and many families not being able to afford an education. For Cambodians, being able to speak English is a highly valued skill which helps widen their range of employment options in the thriving tourism industry.
As an IVHQ Teaching English volunteer, you’ll be teaching young people aged between 5 and 18 years old.
Teaching volunteer work can vary but generally includes:
- Teaching English language classes
- Lesson planning
- Helping with language skills and pronunciation
- Talking and connecting with students
- Helping with IT, math, and art if required

- Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 2 to 24 weeks.
- Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
- Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
