Program Description:
NGO Cambodia
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, on the Volunteer Work with NGOs Project in Cambodia.

You will assist with a wide range of activities helping disadvantaged people in Cambodia. These usually include initiatives improving or working in health, education, human rights, gender issues, community development and environmental issues. Placements are based on the volunteers’ skills and interests as well as where the need is greatest for the local community.

You will be accommodated in either a volunteer house, guesthouse or home-stay and you can expect to share a room with four other IVHQ volunteers, who are of the same gender.

Programs start on the first and third Monday every month throughout the year.

This program ranges from 5-24 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
 
Your Impact

NGO volunteers can assist with projects that focus on fields of community development, human rights, health and HIV/AIDS awareness, gender issues, environmental issues and education. Placements are decided based on a mixture of your skills and interests, and where there is the most need for help at the time.

As a NGO volunteer your duties will vary depending on the placement but often include:

  • Organizational development
  • Administration
  • Research
  • Providing IT assistance

  • Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 5 to 24 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
  • Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
