Buenos Aires or
Cordoba. On this program, you will help teachers, students and their families in a disadvantaged part of the Argentina. Volunteers gain teaching experience and help improve access to education within the local community which can help children stay in school, continue on to further education and get better paying jobs to support themselves and their families.
In Buenos Aires, volunteers are accommodated in a multi-story, dormitory-style volunteer hostel in the neighborhood of Recoleta.
In Cordoba, volunteers are accommodated in a family homestay in Barrio El Refugio, a peaceful neighborhood, 15 - 20 minutes drive from Córdoba airport, and 30 minutes drive to the city center. Your hostess is also your coordinator so our local team will be very easy to approach and always available in case you need anything. This two-story homestay has great facilities for volunteers, including a barbecue area and a swimming pool which is available in the summer.
Both programs have
start dates every Monday throughout the year.
This program ranges from 1-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available

Your Impact
As a Teaching and Education volunteer, you will act as a role model to students from a range of backgrounds. By helping to engage and educate young students, you can also encourage them to realize how the power of education can help their families to improve their situations and lives. Day-to-day teaching volunteer work varies, but generally consists of:
- Assisting local teachers
- Tutoring students in English, math and science
- Providing pronunciation and language guidance
- Helping with other classroom activities

- Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 1 to 12 weeks.
- Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
- Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
