Program Description:
IVHQ Childcare in Philippines
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, and support the Childcare Volunteer Project in the Philippines.

On this program, you will help young children begin their education. Volunteers will gain teaching experience by assisting local staff to lead curriculum-based lessons in school subjects like English, math, science and arts. Children benefit from the enthusiasm, energy and fun volunteers can bring to these lessons which helps engage them in education and fosters a love of learning.

You’ll stay in dormitory-style accommodation in Tigman Village.

The program has start dates every Monday throughout the year.

This program ranges from 1-24 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
 
Your Impact

While other childcare volunteer projects involve general care and playing games, as a Childcare volunteer in the Philippines you’ll be more focused on working in the classroom. You’ll follow the government curriculum, but lessons are conducted in an exciting and practical way through basic drawing, painting and playing – with an essential focus on having fun. Volunteer duties can vary but usually include teaching:

  • Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 1 to 24 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
  • Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
