Program Description:

Music Ecuador
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, on the Music Education Volunteer Project in Ecuador.

You will help local students to express themselves through music. Volunteers will gain teaching experience and be able to use their musical skills to lead classroom lessons and encourage young students to explore new sounds.

You’ll stay in a volunteer house or homestay. Bedrooms have single beds, bunk beds or a double bed and you can expect to share a room with one or two other volunteers.

Programs start every Monday throughout the year.

This program ranges from 1-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
 
Your Impact

As a Music Education volunteer you will help teach music lessons in schools and you’ll be able to use your musical background to help students enjoy it. Music lessons in Ecuador often revolve around playing the guitar, melodica and recorder, but if you’re able to bring other instruments then you’re welcome to introduce new ones.

Music Education volunteer tasks vary but can include:
  • Teaching music classes
  • Starting and assisting bands for more advanced learners
  • Assisting local teachers

  • Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 1 to 12 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
  • Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
