Program Description:
Italy Content Creator
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization as a Content Creator for Impact in Italy.

On this program, you will use your technical and digital skills to make a meaningful difference. Volunteers will assist NGOs in Rome who are fighting for causes like social inclusion, anti-racism, animal protection, disability awareness and environmental conservation. Your help with communication can be the key to obtaining donations, raising awareness, and making local citizens more active in these causes.

Volunteers are accommodated in a central camping lodge in Rome. You can expect to share a room with one other volunteer of the same gender.

The program has start dates the second and fourth Monday of every month throughout the year.

This program ranges from 2-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.

Your Impact

As a Content Creator for Impact with experience in the digital and marketing sector, you can help these NGOs increase their reach and exposure, develop websites, design marketing material, capture film and video of their activities and create social media campaigns. This is all done while also expanding your own portfolio and learning more about the social and environmental issues facing Rome.

Volunteers with a range of skills can assist on the Creative Technologies project:
  • Experienced website developers can help create or update websites incorporating relevant content and media to support charitable initiatives
  • Graphic designers can help to create a range of marketing materials - such as flyers, print advertisements, website content, social media posts or logos and e-books
  • Volunteers with experience in videography or film can create promotional videos or documentaries
  • Photography lovers can help NGOs in documenting their activities, creating catalogues, and providing images for social media and marketing material

If you have a preference in regards to the type of NGO you would like to work with, please note this in your application when you apply and we will do our best to match you to that focus area.
