Medical Outreach
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, and support the Medical Outreach Volunteer Program in Peru.

On this program, you will assist with regular medical campaigns that aim to widen the reach of public health in Lima. Volunteers will gain hands-on medical experience while learning about healthcare systems in vulnerable communities and bringing vital services to people who would otherwise struggle to access quality care.

You’ll stay in a volunteer house run by the local coordinator’s family or in a homestay.

The program has start dates on the first and third Monday of the month throughout the year.

This program ranges from 1-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.

Your Impact

As a Medical Outreach volunteer you can help local schools with children’s health evaluations, health prevention talks, basic preventive checkups in local markets and supporting local government health campaigns.
