Program Description:
Medical Campaign Peru
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, and support the Medical Campaign in Peru.

On this program, you will have the great opportunity to form a group of eight or more people to provide roving healthcare services. This week-long campaign involves visiting remote or disadvantaged areas around Cuzco to improve access to medical care and treatment for the people who live there.

Volunteers on Cusco based projects will be accommodated in either a dorm-style volunteer house or a homestay with a local host family.

The program has start dates every Monday throughout the year.

This is a one week program. Your fully-hosted experience includes 24/7 support, accommodation, meals, airport transfers, Medical Campaign, private transportation to placement daily, program orientation and discounts on language lessons. Detailed pricing information is available on our website.

Your Impact

Volunteer campaigns enable both children and adults to receive basic medical and health services in their own neighborhoods. Having this kind of care available can encourage local people to continue to seek medical treatment when they need it.

As a Medical Campaign volunteer you will visit up to five different communities throughout the week. While each campaign is different, past volunteers have: helped local professionals to provide health check ups; educated communities about nutrition and personal hygiene; and taught people about dental care and distributed toothbrushes and toothpaste in areas without clean drinking water.
