A perfect internship for art lovers, Cultural & Artistic Heritage interns in Spain have the unique opportunity to work alongside experienced local staff in the beautiful city of Valencia. Get hands-on experience in diverse internship placement opportunities with local museums and galleries.

This program ranges from 2-24 weeks and has start dates every Monday throughout the year.

Internship Details

Cultural & Artistic Heritage interns should come prepared to contribute their ideas, creativity and passion, while learning from professionals working within their industry. With potential placements available within a range of museums, galleries and cultural centers, there is ample opportunity to learn something new.

Interns are matched to a placement in consideration of their individual skills, study background and prior experience. Preferences are subject to availability so in all cases, interns should focus on the acquisition of soft skill development and industry exposure within the field. Expected internship tasks vary but may include activities such as:
  • Creating and editing promotional videos
  • Assisting with content creation and graphic design, depending on intern skills
  • Marketing strategies for events and exhibitions
  • Opportunities to assist and learn from exhibition, curation, conservation and restoration activities
  • Customer service and assistance to clients
  • Administrative tasks for operational support

How to Apply

Apply for free: Complete an online application form via the Intern Abroad HQ website.
  • Select your start date and duration: All Intern Abroad HQ programs are available year-round and you can choose to intern for durations on this program ranging from 2 to 24 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Deposit.
  • Pay your Balance: This is only due 60 days before your program starts.

Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 60 days before you start.
