As an international student in the U.S., you may be eligible to participate in an Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT) experience in New York City. These programs help students and recent graduates gain valuable hands-on experience in U.S. companies and organizations. The Intern Group can help you secure an internship directly related to your area of study.
Who Should Apply
Anyone who wants to advance their academic and career goals. A U.S. internship is great for international students with F-1 visa status who are also eligible to participate in either Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Critical Practical Training (CPT). Whether you can receive academic credit for an internship depends on your university’s policies and your individual academic situation. Please carefully read our page on academic credit on our website.
Program Cost
Our programs have a fee, which covers all of the features described above. Because the programs include housing accommodation, the fee amount depends on the dates/length of your internship. You can look up the exact amounts and full details of the program fees on our website. Also note that the internships may be either paid or unpaid, subject to the decision of the host company and the rules of your visa.
All students and alumni are welcome to apply to The Intern Group. Please check in with your study abroad office and/or academic advisor to ensure that you meet your home institution's academic requirements.
