Program Description:

GVI tackles critical local and global issues by operating award-winning education and training programs on sustainable development projects around the world.

We partner with local and international NGOs, government organisations and education institutions including Save The Children, Ministries of Youth and Education, and National Parks of South Africa, Costa Rica, Seychelles, Mexico and Thailand among others. 

These partnerships and programs revolve around our three brand promises:

They have given us the opportunity to partner with educational institutions such as Duke and Stanford universities and schools from around the world to help with their students' internationalization.

Since 1998, GVI has been running multiple-award winning, high quality and high impact conservation and community development programs worldwide. At the core of who we are and what we have managed to achieve is of our team of passionate individuals.We operate and staff our own programs and are broadly recognized as one of, if not the, best in our sector. Over 25,000 people have developed their careers through us and we have almost 250,000 FB fans.

Our service learning projects are built around an intensive period of service learning action in the fields of community development and conservation, with built in reflection periods, combined with a block of adventure time where you’ll become immersed within the local culture.
 
An international service learning project is the perfect opportunity to transform yourself and your world. Not only will you be contributing to sustainable community development and conservation projects, but you’ll be gaining unique hands-on, practical skills and impacting your future. At the top of every employers and universities list is practical experience, so we have built programs upon this foundation. Many students complete a project with us and discover new passions, beliefs and values, as well as potential career paths. You’ll go home a more confident and competent global citizen, with a range of advanced soft and practical skills.
