Program Description:

CET Siena

CET Siena
CET Siena is for students looking to fully immerse themselves in the Italian lifestyle. Electives in computer science, economics, international relations, art history, politics, and more offer opportunities to fulfill major requirements. You'll practice your Italian where it matters most—outside the classroom. One day, you might visit a contrada to learn about the famous Palio horse race; the next, take a cooking class to prepare traditional dishes like pici, gnocchi, or ravioli. Live with local roommates or in a homestay—each option offering a deeper connection to the people and rhythms of daily life in Siena.

Study in Siena. Immerse in Italy. Then see the rest of Europe.

  • Electives taught in English (including Computer Science)
  • Individualized attention in small classes
  • Take 1 or 2 semesters worth of Italian
  • Local Italian roommates or host families
  • Overnight excursion in the region of Emilia Romagna for the fall/spring semester
  • No language prerequisite—open to beginner through advanced Italian language levels
