Liberal Arts in English – Alicante, Spain
Program Overview

The Liberal Arts in English Program in Alicante is designed for students who are new to Spanish or prefer to take courses in English. Hosted at the Universidad de Alicante, this program allows students to explore liberal arts subjects in English while taking Spanish language classes appropriate to their level. Combining academic content with cultural immersion, this program offers an enriching international experience.

Located on Spain's sunny Costa Blanca, Alicante blends Mediterranean charm with a modern, student-friendly atmosphere. From exploring castles and museums to enjoying tapas and beachside activities, students will experience the rhythm of Spanish daily life in a vibrant, welcoming environment.

Housing

Students can choose between a homestay or a student residence.

  • Homestay: Live with a Spanish family for full immersion in language and culture. Homestays include meals, laundry, and a private room in a warm and supportive environment.
  • Student Residence: Enjoy greater independence while living with other international students. Residences include shared amenities and easy access to the university and city. Priority is given to those with specific dietary or accessibility needs.

  • No prior Spanish required; Spanish language course placement is based on an online test
