Liberal Arts in Advanced Spanish – Alicante, Spain
Program Overview

The Liberal Arts in Advanced Spanish Program in Alicante is designed for students with a strong foundation in Spanish who wish to further their language proficiency while exploring Spain's rich cultural and academic landscape. This immersive semester or full-year program merges advanced coursework with dynamic cultural experiences in one of Spain's most welcoming coastal cities.

Housing

Students may choose between a homestay or a student residence.

  • Homestay: Live with a local host family, enjoy home-cooked meals, and practice Spanish daily in a supportive and authentic environment. Includes room, meals, laundry, and a full cultural immersion.
  • Student Residence: Ideal for students seeking independence, residences offer a community atmosphere with modern amenities. Priority is given to those with dietary or accessibility needs.

Academic Requirements

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Completion of at least two advanced college-level Spanish courses or equivalent
  • Placement based on University of Alicante's online Spanish language exam
